Download the .ISO File to install Windows 10
If you already have an .ISO file of Windows 10 that corresponds to your computer, you don’t need to do this step. If you don’t have an .ISO file installed with Windows 10, download the Windows 10 version with the same version and bit number with Windows 10: click here to download .ISO file from Microsoft
Once you have the .ISO file, rename the file to the name of the version of Windows 10 you just downloaded (such as 32-bit Windows 10 Pro, this is not mandatory but should be done to facilitate file management and use later) ) and move this file to a drive other than the C drive containing Windows being used so that after installing Windows 10 the .ISO file is not lost (save it for later use).
Instructions to install Windows 10 from the hard drive
1. Create a folder to install Windows 10
– You must first install the extraction program, such as 7-Zip (free, click to download and install it) or Winrar
– You move the .iso file to install Windows 10 to the outer location of a drive that is different from drive C (remember the outermost location for you guys)
Then right-click and choose Extract to Windows 10 … (depending on the name of the .iso file that Extract to … varies)
Then you get a folder with the same name as the .iso file name
Please rename this folder to BTH
Thus, this step is completed, now to ensure the installation process does not occur, please turn off the internet connection by unplugging the network cable if in use (with Wifi and Dcom is not necessary)
2. Open Command prompt
You need to go to Restart on Windows 10 then hold down the Shift button and click Restart
The computer will move to the screen as below, here you choose Troubleshot
Choose Advabced options
Choose Command Prompt
Now the computer will reboot and the screen Command Prompt
At the Command Prompt, you will see the account (or list of accounts) on your computer, click the account you are using, here your account is BlogTinHoc

At the cmd window, type the command wmic logicaldisk get size, caption and press ENTER to display the list of drives and their sizes
As shown above, the Caption column is the drive letter and the Size column is the volume of the corresponding drive. You only care about the size drives, in this case I have the drives: C, D, E, X.
Now type the following command in the drive letter list: BTH setup and press Enter and continue until after pressing Enter but you do not see the line The system cannot find the path specified. Here I will type the following commands:
C:BTHsetup
D:BTHsetup
E:BTHsetup
Go to the 3rd command E: BTH setup, I don’t see the line The system cannot find the path specified. so I stopped and waited for a while until the Windows 10 setup window appeared
3. Proceed to install Windows 10
At the Windows Setup window if you are experienced, you can option as you like, if you are not familiar with it, please choose the parameters like the ones below, then select Next
Choose Install now
This step you just need to select Skip without the key modifier
Check I accept the license terms and select Next
Select Custom: install Windows only (advanced)
You should now see the drive information panel and the options Delete (Format the drive), Format (delete all files in the drive) and New (to create a new drive). In the information panel of options, you will see the Name column (drive letter), Total size (disk space), Free space (the amount of free space on that drive).
First, you need to determine which drive C contains the old operating system you are using:
– Name (drive letter): usually drive C has no name, after the Driver * Partition * part (the * signs are different depending on the computer) there will be no sign: the drive name. As shown in the image below, you will see that the second drive 0 Drive No Partion 2 has a name, so this will be drive C. However there are some cases where there are many drives without a name, we do not identify it by this way is.
– Total size (disk space) and Free space (free space of the drive): usually if you know the total size and Free space of drive C, you can just look at it to determine the drive C now.
– Drive location: usually drive C will be the drive at the top of the drive size (Total size) greater than 10 GB.
After identifying drive C, delete all drives with a size (Total size) less than 1GB (drive units in MB) and drive C go by selecting the drive and then clicking Delete
A message appears, select OK
After deleting C drive and drives smaller than 1 GB, you will get an empty partition named Driver 0 Unllocated space. Sometimes there will be 2, 3 free partitions like that, choose a partition with the largest capacity and choose New.
Choose Apply
Choose OK
You will then see several new drives created, with a computer with a Lagecy standard BIOS like your computer will create 2 new drives, with a newer UEFI standard computer will create 3-4 new drives, although However, only 1 drive is larger than 1 GB and other partitions are less than 1 GB. Select the drive with the largest capacity among the newly created drives and select Next
Now you wait for the installation process to be done, depending on the computer this process will restart 2-3 times and takes about 15-30 minutes
After a few moments of waiting, my picture below will display, you click Do this later
If the computer has Wifi, then it will take 1 more step, select Skip this step
Choose Use Express settings
Go to the step of filling out the Windows 10 account information, in the first box you specify the name of the account you want, if you do not want to set a password, leave the next 3 boxes blank, if you want to set a password, then enter the password In the second and third try boxes, the fourth box you enter the password hint (it will display when you enter the wrong password at login). Wrong then select Next
Now you continue to wait until the Windows 10 installation is complete
After installation, open the System window by going to This PC (press Windows + E) => right-click This PC and select Properties
At the System window, if you are not connected to the Internet, you will see the words Connect to the Internet to activate Windows
Now connect to the internet and wait about 5 minutes, then close and reopen the System window, you will see that Windows is activated (Windows is activated)
Note: if at first Windows has been activated copyright but when reinstalled under this guide, Windows 10 has not been activated copyright (Windows is not activated), please restart your computer, connect to the internet and wait for approx. 5 minutes later to verify the copyright of Windows 10
